He is survived by: his wife Mona Istre Abshire; his sister Peggy LeDoux; his children, Judy Goodreau of Lake Charles, Marty Dennis (Debbie) of Reno, NV, Thomas "Buck" Dennis of Jennings, Frank Dennis (Winifred) of Hathaway, John Dennis of Jennings, Charlie Dennis (Jill) of Lake Charles, Joe Dennis Dawson (Eddie) of Austin, TX and Shelli Britt (Charles) of Roanoke, LA; and his stepchildren, Kim Meaux, Tyrone Abshire and Doug Abshire. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.
