It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Havens (Jennings, Louisiana), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. J. Doughtie and Ernestine Garrett Doughtie; her husband Jack Havens; and her sister Betty Daniels. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lynn Young (Dan), Gayle Lee McFarlain (Glenn), Johnnie Kae Pleasant (Houston) and Theodore Wayne Havens. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
