She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simmons and Hazel Simmons; her sisters, Walterteen Thomas, Rosie Bell and Hazel Murray; her grandsons, Vincent Brown, Jr. and Dexter Savage, Jr.; her children, Ronnie Savage, Terry Savage (Lillie), Donnie Joe Savage, Levi Savage (Nikki), Dexter Savage, Raymond Savage, Joey Savage (Crystal), Darnell Simmons (Tosha), Steve Ogletree, Duan Rosenthal, Tami Brown (Bennie), Linda Gibbs (Stephen) and Peggy Wilson (Sedrick); her close friends, Vivian Thompson and Martha Alexander-Bryan; and her siblings, Linda Hunter (Bill), Mamie Farris, Peggy Fagan, Sandra Fritz (Roger), William Simmons, Jr. and Richard Simmons. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
