He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Elaine Dorsey; his wife Barbara Dorsey; his children, Ernesta Dorsey, Chuck (Mahogany), Chris Dorsey, Darryon Dorsey, Phaedra Dorsey, Jaylen Dorsey, Tatyana Duncan, Kharyco Morrison, Kerry Dorsey, Jhayden Forbes, Quinton Dorsey, Chioma Achilefu, Ahja Dorsey, Marquis Phillips, Kiande Phillips, Siani Dorsey and Symone Dorsey; his grandchildren, Zeniyah Morrison, Esther Naomi Phillips, Ka'Mari Hobbs and Ky'Mir Hobbs; his siblings, James Dorsey, Rose Marie Love, Betty Murray (Johnny), Edna Shallowhorn, Evangelist Dorothy Moseley and Shirley Dorsey; and his godson Edwin Rose.
