It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Sam Williams of Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Green, Sr. and Nursey Lee Green; her husband Colbert Lee Williams, Sr.; her children, Wanda Faye Williams, Anna Marie Hines and Colbert Lee Williams, Jr.; her sisters, Ella Mae McNeal and Linda Ann Tate; her great grandchildren, Mary Grace Williams, Desire Robertson and Beatrice Williams; her great great grandchildren, Kendal S. Thompson, Jr. and Ja'Hari L. Raymond; and her great-nephew Kawaski Green.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Joseph Williams of Jeanerette, LA, David Williams of Jeanerette, LA, Shawn Williams of Jeanerette, LA and Judy Lively (Albert) of Jeanerette, LA; her siblings, Elton Green, Jr. of Jeanerette, LA, Judy Green Kelly of New Iberia, LA and Nursey Colar of Jeanerette, LA; and her goddaughter Beverly Lumpkin. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to the August 1, 2021 Louisiana COVID-19 mandate, masks are required to be worn by all attendees at the church and cemetery.
