He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Hebert Derise; his parents, Nolton Charles Derise Sr. and Mary Stroud Derise; and his brother William Derise. He is survived by: his daughters, Penny Derise of Jeanerette and Mindy Jumonville (Eddie) of Jeanerette; and his grandchildren, Pherra Stages of Jeanerette, Elyn Jumonville of Jeanerette, Barkley and Bella Rose.
