She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Butts, Sr. and Bernice Nathan Johnson; and her son Kerry Lynn Butts. She is survived by: her children, Emmanuel Butts (Natalie), Deneris Butts (Carla), Nathaniel Butts, Marjorie Butts Mitchell (Charles), LaShequa Tauriac (Kevin) of Jeanerette, LA and Shawndell Pryor (Matthew) of Lake Charles, LA; and her siblings, Joseph C. Butts (Tracy) of Jeanerette, LA, Diana Brown (Willie) of Houston, TX, Helen Edwards of Arlington, TX, Henry Lee Butts, Alfred Butts, Larry Butts, Victor Butts, Jr., Rosa Belle Polidore, Linda Butts and Mary Louise Davison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 1:00 PM, on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church 609 Pellerin Jeanerette, LA 70544, with Pastor Jones Officiating. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.).
