It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Copell (Jeanerette, Louisiana), who passed away on January 25, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Copell and Shirley White Copell; his siblings, Giles Copell, Marvin Copell, Floyd Copell and Winston Copell; and his friends, Possum Guillotte and Huey Thibodeaux.

He is survived by: his wife Charlene "Chili" Legnon Copell; his sons, Layne Copell (Kristen) of Lynn, MA and Lance Copell (Courtney) of Opelousas; his stepdaughter Sheri Conell (Aimee Conell) of Yoder, CO; his grandchildren, Leighton Copell, Avery Copell, Charlotte Copell and Genevieve Copell; his stepgrandchild Journey Conell; and his brother Wayne Copell (Mary) of New Iberia.
