He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Francis Flemings; his stepfather Herman Fleming; his grandmother Geneva Francis; and his uncles, Gene Francis and Frank Francis, Jr..
He is survived by: his father Walter N. Cooper; his wife Clouet Cooper of Jeanerette, LA; his son Courtney Cooper of New Iberia, LA; his aunts, Anna L. Minor of Jeanerette, LA, Ester Jean Stampley (Gilbert) of Baton Rouge, LA and Nellie Francis of Jeanerette, LA; and his uncle Donald Francis, Sr. (Ida Nell) of Jennings, LA. He is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
Due to the August 1, 2021, Louisiana COVID-19 mandate, masks are required to be worn by all attendees at the church and cemetery. John.
