It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Frida Lee of Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Jessie was loved and cherished by many people including: daughters, Louise Cielto, Edith La Chapelle and Denyse Poarch; grandchildren, Erik, Zahra, Jelani, Afiya, Tau, Tahira, Yentyl, Asia and Brandon; great grandchildren, Kaya, Kanaya, Malachi, Kayelle, Alaia, Zidan, Amaria and Arielle; close friend Charles Henderson; daughters, Trina, Lyn, Demetria and Vita; son-in-law Darrel Sanders; niece Carolyn Spencer (Earcel Spencer); and friend Laura Sparrow.
Visitation will be observed from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Peter United Methodist Church 986 St. Peter Street Jeanerette, LA 70544. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing).
