He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cearley and Mabel Grisham Cearley; and his son Malcolm Cearley. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Cumpton Cearley; his children, Michael Cearley of Jeanerette, Karen C. Ruiz of Jeanerette and Melinda C. Viator (David) of Jeanerette; his brother Jerry Cearley (Sharon) of Leander; his grandchildren, Jonathan Viator (Shawna), Anthony Ruiz (Mollie), Matthew Viator, Sarah Ruiz and Alison Viator; and his great grandchildren, Khloe and Avery Viator. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
