He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Wittman and Vera Madeline Coughlin; his sister Diane Lavin; and his grandson Adam J. Little. He is survived by: his children, Phil Wittman Jr. (Jennifer), Kristi Vaughan, Lynn Harrison (Bill), Diane Wittman, Susy Simoneaux and Beverly Mayeux (Louie); his grandchildren, Holly Guillot (Craig), Jessica Mayeux Siddoway (Ben), Nicholas Vaughan, Forrest Vaughan and Mackenzi Vaughan; his nephews, Neal and Guy Lavin; and his niece Leslie Guillot.
