We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2023, at the age of 79, Lena Pauline Rushing of Jackson, Louisiana, born in Greensburg, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Wayne Rushing; her parents, Schley Harvin and Imogene Harvin; her brother Jim Harvin; and her brother-in-law Johnny Forcha.
She is survived by: her children, Saundra Sharp (Horace) of Amite, Lisa Ponder (Scott) of Cartersville, GA and William "Will" Rushing II (Jennifer) of Zachary; her sister Grace Forcha of Baton Rouge; her sister-in-law Coleen Harvin of Greensburg; her brothers, Marshall Harvin of Greensburg and Robert "Bob" Harvin (Debbie) of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Kaycee Gustafson (Chad), Kristen Thomas (Jacob), Emily Worthington (Jordan), Logan Ponder, Colby Rushing (McCall), Addison Bellard (Alex), Garrett Rushing (Sloane) and Lynndon Rushing; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Abby Gustafson, Aiden Otto, Hunter, Adelynn Thomas, James Worthington, Ben, Henry Bellard and Jack; and her friend Joan Carpenter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
