She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Hobbs; her sons, James Hobbs and Jerry Hobbs; and her parents, Alton Spence and Ina Spence.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Musselman (Paul) of Jackson and Jean Kelley (Thomas) of Phoenix, AR.; and her brother Robert Spence of Ponce.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
