He is survived by: his daughters, Elgina Manuel (Stephen), Geneva Guillory (Kevin) and Rhonda Suire (Joseph); his grandchildren, Amberlyn Fontenot, Matthew, Colby Suire, Kyndra and Kory Manuel; and his siblings, John Deshotel, Paul "Red" Deshotel, Sr. of Kenneth, Moore and Beulah Berry. He is also survived by 4 great-grandsons, numerous nieces, and nephews.
