It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Gulino Guzzardo of Independence, Louisiana, born in Amite, Louisiana, who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sam J. Guzzardo, Sr.; her children, Joseph Michael Guzzardo and Diane Guzzardo Crowe; her son-in-law Gordon Martin Crowe, Jr.; her parents, Pat Gulino and Jennie Gulino; her sister Rosalie Gennaro (Sam); and her siblings-in-law, Tony Guzzardo (Ina), J. T. Guzzardo (Stella) and Fannie Schittone (John).
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Guzzardo Morgan (Wayne) and Sammy Guzzardo, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Lena Domiano Guzzardo; her grandchildren, Dana Lynn Crowe, Joey Guzzardo, Jr., Leanne Guzzardo and Jessica Guzzardo; her great grandchild William "C. J."; her sister-in-law Lou Macaluso (Nick); and her grandson Nicholas Perkins.
