She was predeceased by: her son Jeffery Story; and her parents, Casey Bankston and Lois Bankston. She is survived by: her husband Paul Story; her children, Bill Story (Cathy Harris) and Vickie Petho (Steve); and her grandchildren, Chelsea Lynn Petho, Steven Wayne Petho and Paul William Story. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
