He was predeceased by: his father Rayford Lee Rafferty; and his grandparents, Anthony and Pauline Ambs. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Lois Ambs Rafferty (James); his children, Crystal Rone and Jamie Rafferty; his brothers, Danny Lacefield and Ranny Lacefield; his half-siblings, Donald Ray Rafferty and Mary Grace Woodward; and the mother of his children Elaine Rafferty. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
