He was predeceased by: his parents, William Graham Byrd and Rosa Florence Kemp. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Stan (Natalie), Johnny (Carolyn) and James Byrd; his siblings, James Vernon Byrd (Jeanette May Byrd), Joyce Lindsey, Laura Faye Bellows and Carol Walker; and his brother-in-law John Reitzell (June). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers any planned memorials may be made to the Old Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund, Clarks, LA.
