He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliza Marie Verdin Guthrie and James Joseph Guthrie; and his sister Lena Adams. He is survived by: his son Harold G. Guthrie (Debbie); his grandchildren, Matthew (Rayne) and Katie Guthrie; his great grandchildren, Ellis and Merritt Guthrie; and his siblings, Ida Cox, Whitney Guthrie, Lydia Scully, Edna Stentz, Albert Guthrie and Marguerite Boyd Guthrie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
