He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Greer (Brandon) and Corey Carlos; his former wife Carolyn McDaniel; his siblings, Aubrey Carlos (Janice), Patrick Carlos, Sr., Elma C. Smith and Patricia C. Boggs; his grandchildren, Cameron Carlos, Dillan Morrissey, Dallas Morrissey, Summer Blank, Nina Carlos and Remey Carlos; his stepgrandchildren, Amber Verdin, Trey Verdin, Austin Greer and Laynee Greer; his great grandchildren, Aliyah Morrissey, Emmalynn Smith, Innocencia Carlos, Audrey Carlos and Asher Melancon; and his sister-in-law Dianne Carlos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
