He was predeceased by: his grandson Gerald M. Jr. of Washington; his parents, Harold Taylor, Sr. and Deborah Surtain Taylor; and his brother Harold Taylor, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Charles R. Taylor, Jr., Yovette Bumpers, Charlotte of Washington, Stephen Butler, Chanda Taylor, Robert Moore, Shelita Stamps and Alonzo Robinson; and his brothers, James Taylor and Brian Taylor. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.
