With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Marie Carter Lewis in Forest, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester P. Lewis; her brother Fred Carter; and her child Gerry Lynn Lewis Cocran. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Scott Lewis (Cheryl), Dianne Lewis Sehmi (Sammy) and Pete Lewis (Martha); and her grandchildren, Andrea Lewis Laurent, Jennifer Lee, Casey Bergeron, Di Sehmi, Chad Cocran, Daniel Cocran, Sarah Danos, Blake Lewis, Troy Lewis and Kelly Lewis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation (masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed) on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 9:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.
