He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Holden Payne; his parents, Eloise Beatty and Herbert Payne; and his brother Herbert, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Christine Payne-Lichtfuss (Don); his stepchildren, Jamie Mauthe and Bruce Butler III; and his siblings, John, Marshall, Billy, Mike, Phyllis and Ray. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
