He was predeceased by: his father Shirley Brumfield; his siblings, Gary Brumfield, Shirley Ann Hollins (Flovel) and Annie Mae Lewis; and his goddaughter Latisha.
He is survived by: his wife Leola; his siblings, Lillie Mae Burris (John), Rose Mary Tate (Matthew) and Marshell Brumfield (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Hazel Brumfield and Edgar Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
