He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie "Beanie" Faye Blaney; his parents, Wesley Charles "W. C." Blaney and Opal Metcalf Blaney; and his brothers, Bill Blaney, Kenneth Blaney and Gerald Blaney.
He is survived by: his children, Ronda "Shelly" Blaney of Marksville, LA and Boo Blaney, Jr. (Stacie) of Vidalia, LA; his stepdaughter Brandy Sanders of Vidalia, LA; his brother Charlie Blaney (Sonia) of Natchez, MS; his grandchildren, Mandy Polk, Emily Moss Watts (Kaleb), Jeremy Gillam, Marty Blaney, III, Faith Gillam, Shyvlie Blaney and Parker Blaney; his great grandchildren, Heaven Richard, Amaris Richard, Micah Richard and Kyler Moss; his great great grandchild Urijah Josiah Richard; his pets, Willie and Penny; and his nephew Cafe'.
