She was predeceased by: her husband Glynnwoth "Sonny" Potts; her parents, Mable Nessmith and Hardie Nessmith; her siblings, Sonny Boy Nessmith, Ruth Cavanaugh (Quentin Cavanaugh) and Margaret Arthur (Hugh Arthur); her sister-in-law Marie Potts; her nephews, Darren McClure and Morris Ray Arthur; and her close friends, Oscar, Flora Stewart and Darlene Westbrook.
She is survived by: her daughter Glynece "Tootsie" Ferguson; her granddaughters, Christina F. Peoples and Tiffany A. Ferguson (Nick Myers); her great grandchildren, Austin Peoples, Meah F. Peoples, Braylin Myers of Ferriday, LA and Sonny Colt Myers of Ferriday, LA; her sister Martha Nessmith McClure of Wildsville; and her close friends, Willie Dea Pecanty of Ferriday, LA and Paula Mount of Monterey, LA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a Cancer Research Association of your choice in memory of Mrs. Mary.
