He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemeul Hubbard Deckeard and Grace Freeman Redditt; and his siblings, Eva Francis Reeves, Doris Lucille Kowen and Jimmy Valander Deckeard.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Decker of Ferriday, LA; his children, Tommy Decker (Susan) of Natchez, Brenda Coates of Monticello, MS, Sandy Decker of Ferriday, LA, John Decker of Ferriday, LA and Linda Holley (Heath) of Natchez, MS; and his sister Patsy Irine Cunningham of Port Gibson, MS.. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
