It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Lee Carter Sr. of Ferriday, Louisiana, born in Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Rosie Carter; and his siblings, Leon Carter, Fredlena Allen, Juanita Carter, Irene Hinkston, Annie Ruth Wilson and Lula Feaster.
He is survived by: his children, Henry Lee Carter (Keri), Cyril London, Brittany London of Baton Rouge, LA, Shasta Lon, Annie London and Andrea London of Augusta, GA.; his grandchildren, Henry Lee Carter III (Taylor) of Dallas, Brianna, Kayla Carter, Jah'nae, Justin Jason, Jeremy Franklin and Savina Jasper; his great grandchild Kaison Carter; his siblings, Rev. Jesse Banks, Larry, Ethel Carter of Dallas, TX and Dorothy Amacker Scott of Missouri City, TX; and his nieces and nephews, James Hinkson of Nashville, TN, Norah Hinkson (Kassandra) of Jackson, MS, Derrick Carter, Fredrick Carter of Jacksonville, FL, Leon Solomon, Sarah Hookfin of McKinney, TX, Connie Hinkston Bush, Wanda, Jenise and Tanya Solomon. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
