He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jean Stewart Barker; his parents, Frank William Barker and Ruby Lee Barker; and his siblings, Annie May Barker, Maxine Edwards, Rosa Lee Harper Grayson and James Bugs Barker.
He is survived by: his son Mike Barker (Janet) of Ferriday, LA; his grandchildren, Curt Barker of Monroe, LA and Sharyl Barker of Vidalia, LA; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Barker of Brookhaven, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
