She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cecil "Red" Johnson, Sr. and Zelphia Mae Johnson; her brother Scotty Johnson; and her parents-in-law, Clois and Erma Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Simpson; her children, Christy Albritton (Chris), Donna Stansbury (John) and Brittany Walton (Ben); her grandchildren, John Russell Stansbury, Morgan Albritton, Nicholas Albritton, Randall Stansbury and Lindsay Walton; and her siblings, Henry Johnson Jr. (Laurie), Brenda Black (Rex) and Angie Murphy (Mike). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
