He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Semmes; and his daughter Eileen Semmes. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Semmes Nappier (James), Bessie Semmes Boothe, Brenda Semmes Kelly and Tommy A. Semmes, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Mike Nappier (Kim), Sherry Currington (Tim), Greg Nappier (April), Chris Nappier, Tommy Semmes, III, Amy Smith (Mike), Kim Loe (Tommy), Ariel Kelly, Seth Staples (Brandi), Caleb Staples (Shelby), Christopher Nappier and AJ "Turtle" Kelly. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
