She was predeceased by: her parents, Daley Anthony (Fiya) and Lilly Marie Dronet (Landry); her husband Sheldon Jude Barras; her grandson Benjamin James Hegland; her parents-in-law, Harry Barras and Lorena Marie Broussard Barras (Bee); her brother-in-law Nelson Barras (Rock); and her nephews, Brandon and John Dronet.
She is survived by: her brothers, Gene Dronet (Cynthia) and Travis Dronet (Sybil); her children, Tanja Hegland (Jim) and Kenzel Barras; her grandchildren, Anna Maxon (Colin), Peter Hegland (Molly O'Toole), Laura Heier (Diego), Sarah Hegland, Andrew Hegland, Joseph Hegland, Brennan Barras, Tori Barras and Devin Barras; and her great grandchildren, Leo, Kara, Keegan Maxon, Logan and Colette Heier.
