It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcus Bowie (Downsville, Louisiana), born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Bowie and Gloria Bowie; and his sister Sheryl Zigler. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Carter (Chris) of Haughton and Christopher "Marc" Bowie of Downsville; his brothers, John Bowie of Downsville and Tracy Bowie (Rhonda) of Downsville; his grandchildren, Cameron Carter, Ashlynn Carter and Harlen Bowie; and also Rhonda Bowie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
