Karl Brown wrote a sympathy message

“I cant tell you how much I miss my son. it will be 2 years in June and not a day goes by I don't think about him. I keep reliving his accident and and can't help but thinking about how he died. I still cry about it. It keeps me awake or I wake up from dreaming about him. I miss him so much and blame myself for not being there and changing his course that would have kept him out of truck driving. I know nothing I can say or do will ever change anything now. It's a feeling of hopelessness and guilt I live with everyday. I will live with it for the rest of my life. Parents are just not suppose to bury their children. I go to work and I do my job. Its hard sometimes as he weighs heavily on my mind. I get angry easily and try and find ways to clear my head. It haunts me and the only comfort I get is the hope that I will see him again, someday. I deserve it. If i had been a better man , my wife wouldn't have left me and we would still be a family. There is no doubt he would still be here. It's a burden I will take to my grave.”
