He is survived by: his wife Debra Owens of Summerton; his children, Laura Ryan (Toby Forsythe), Gregory Cockerham of Geismar, Louisiana and Christy Cockerham of Geismar, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Lauren Hupp, Linsey Wilmes (Jacee James), Caydan Cockerham (Emily Eubanks) and Kyra Cockerham; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Morris, Jacee Wilmes, Kaison Wilmes, Londyn James and Ophelia Cockerham; and his grandson Billy Wayne Cockerham (Shelia) of Houma, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous step children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
