She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Mier and Viola Mier; her husband James Dorr; her siblings, Beatrice Talley, Joyce Mier and Charles Mier; and her grandson Trey Petry.
She is survived by: her children, Allison Dorr Petry (Donnie) and Jared Abshire of Crowley; her siblings, Brunette Kokenge of St. Martinville and Terry Mier (Millie) of Crowley; her grandchildren, Erika Petry Broussard (Collin), Hannah Abshire of Crowley, Anden and Peyton Abshire of New Iberia; and her great grandchild Layla Menard of Crowley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
