He is survived by: his wife Brenda "Susie" Myers Istre of Crowley; his children, Stephanie Istre of Crowley and Brandon Hoffpauir of Crowley; his siblings, Barbara Benoit of Crowley, Lorita Lejeune of Orange, TX and Lercy Matthews of Orange, TX; his grandson Steven Mayer of Crowley; and his close friends, Joanie Guillory of Estherwood, Crystal Patin of Estherwood and Christa Lacombe of Estherwood. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
