He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon J. Sandoz, Sr. and Catherine A. Sandoz; his brother James Joseph Sandoz; his children, Renea and Vincent Paul Sandoz; and his brother-in-law Francis Chapoton.

He is survived by: his wife Paulette Sandoz; his son Vernon J. Sandoz, III; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Chapoton and Marion Chapoton (Janet). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
