With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam E. Taylor Sr. (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on July 31, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tasso Taylor, Sr. and Mary Anthony Taylor; his sister Edna Gayle Oswald (Bruce); his grandchildren, Ty-Luis Garza, Joshua Shane Farmer and Madison Leigh Goodwin; and his great grandchild Kasen Scott Fitzmorris.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Reon Taylor; his children, Sam E. Taylor, Jr. (Tonia), Yves B. Lopez, Nicole L. Goodwin (Greg) and Aimee L. Garza; his siblings, Alice T. Corkern (late Troy), Shirley T. Primes (late Donald) and Tasso "T. J."; his grandchildren, Samantha T. Burlett (Brent), Brittany B. Casey (Daniel), Blaine "Turtle" Gardner, Jordan M. Rider (Jade), Tabitha L. Taylor, Caleb E. Garza, Elijah P. Garza, Sevy Z. Lopez, Jacob Goodwin, Vincent Arnona (Kiersten) and Victoria "Tori" Arnona; his great grandchildren, Bret D. Rivers, Benjamin W. Casey, Charlotte L. Casey, Layne Kate Rider, Leland D. Rider, Brentley C. Burlett, Kylynn R. Burlett, Lexie Dunham, Lindley Burlett and Lihui "Lizha" Zhang; and his children, Stephen, Paul and Grace Dale.
