He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ronald Ruff and Katherine Youngs Ruff; and his brothers, Jack Ruff and Jon Ruff. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Diane F. Ruff; and his cousin Tommie Kay Howell. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
