It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Cortello Martin in Covington, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvadore Joseph Cortello and Gertrude Lacey Cortello. She is survived by: her husband Harold Albert Martin, Jr.; her children, Lynne LaRussa (Dennis), Robert Martin (Donna) and Thomas Martin; her grandchildren, Stacy Foster (Frank), Brad Martin and Dennis LaRussa (Ara); her great grandchildren, Margaret Rose and Enzo Foster; and her siblings, Frank Cortello, Joseph Cortello and Sal Cortello.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Phyllis may be made to NAMI's St. Tammany Chapter Residence Program.
