She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Frank Cain and Irma Agnes Meyer Cain; her husband John Catlett Christian, Jr.; her daughter Cathleen Marie Christian; and her brothers, Marvin Cain and William Cain.
She is survived by: her children, John Catlett Christian III (Susan Maness), Alice Christian Long (Andrew F. Long) and Carol Shack Lappin (Richard Lappin); her brother Larry Cain (Pat Cain); and her granddaughters, Charlotte Christian Castejon, Catherine Catlett Christian and Camille Corinne Christian.
In lieu of flowers Peggy wished donations would be made to the Children's Hospital of New Orleans (https://www.chnola.org).
