We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2020, at the age of 85, Norman Charles Quates Sr. (Covington, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Annette Boyer Quates; his parents, Gertrude Jones Quates and Andy Joseph Quates; and his sister Ramona Sanford. He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Quates (Lin), Norman "Chuck" Quates, Jr. (Mary) and Scott Quates; his siblings, Jerry Mitchell Quates and Windell Quates; his grandchildren, Candice Quates Kirby (Clay), Julie McCullagh (Mike) and Joshua Sheppard; and his great grandchildren, Marie Therese, Gabriel Eugene and Robin Louise.
Due to COVID-19 funeral services will be at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Quates to be made to the Sisters of Mt. Carmel, P.O. Box 1160, Lacombe, LA 70445-0476.
