He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Bertoniere and Anna Bertoniere; and his siblings, Rene Jr., John, Marilyn and Sylvia.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Saccaro; his children, Maurice "Rece" Bertoniere and Michelle "Mimi" Bertoniere Canas; his children-in-law, Tina and Felipe; his grandchildren, Victoria, River, Reece, Isabella, Kyle, Alejandro and Kasey; and his sister-in-law Christle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
