She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis Mitchell and Dorothy P. Mitchell; her brother John "Buddy" Mitchell; and her daughter Jahnea Maria Morella. She is survived by: her brother Jason Mitchell; her sons, John "Manny" Morella, Jereme Morella and Jarett Morella; her husband Kevin Helmer; and her grandchildren, Daniel Morella, Brittany Misener, Jarett Morella and Dalton Morella. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and an extended family.
