It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Wayne Tucker Sr. (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Sherman Tucker and Irene Harris Tucker; and his sister Wanda T. Pugh. He is survived by: his children, Nancy T. Petit (Kent), Harold W. Tucker, Jr. (Brenda) and Hugh A. Tucker; his grandchildren, Carey Tucker, Nathan Tucker, Philip Petit (Morgan), Matthew Petit (Haleigh), Haylie Tucker and Amanda Petit Stuy (John); and his sister Alice T. Golowash.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Cancer Society, 2605 River Road, New Orleans, LA 70121; or First Baptist Church of Covington Building Fund.

“I just learned of Harold's death. He was a great friend. We worked together at the Sears, Credit Central and other entities from 1973 until after we both had retired by 31 December 1999. I had several opportunities to visit Harold and Helen after he retired and relocated to Folsom, Louisiana. We spoke occasionally over the years, but medical issues prevented my visiting him after February 2021, and I only learned of his death when our Christmas card from 2021 was just returned to me today.”
