He is survived by: his wife Terri Sanders (Elfer); his children, Cherie Sanders Moore (Keith) and Gary John Sanders, Jr.; his grandchild Brantley Jack; his mother Cora Lee Stewart Sanders (Stewart); and his siblings, John W. Sanders, Jr. (Connie) and Cathy Sanders Cardinale (Melvin). He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
