He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemarie Hartwich Young; his parents, Ernest Young and Flora Christensen Young; his son Martin Young; and his brother Ernest, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Florence Young Cotty; his sisters, Louise, Marianne and Ramona "Mona"; and his grandchildren, Mary Huval and Jacob Carson.
