It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hatfield Geoghegan (Covington, Louisiana), born in Springhill, Louisiana, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Andrew Hatfield and Nettie Bernice Maxey Hatfield; and her siblings, Sissie Dubois, Odell Hatfield, Robert Hatfield, Louise Hatfield, Audrey Hatfield, Raymond Hatfield and Ruth Hatfield.
She is survived by: her husband Roy P. Geoghegan; her daughter Kimberly G. Knecht; her siblings, Betty H. Benandi and Roy D. Hatfield (Sue); her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Dubois and Paula Hatfield; her nieces and nephews, Andrew Dubois (Nancy), Renee Dempsey Amanda (Larry), Dwayne Dubois (Susanne), Chris and Randy Hatfield; and her close friends, Kirk C. Knecht and Eva Mays. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
